The invention relates to a method for producing micro stamping tools which is designed to achieve a highly accurate reproductible match between said micro stamping tools, such as a force plate with stamps and a cutting plate, and to achieve a homogeneous distribution of die clearance. According to the first alternative for producing a cutting plate, a force place consisting of stamps with micro cutting structures in the sub-millimeter range is provided with a separating layer and the force plate is galvanically reproduced using a hard alloy. In another alternative for the production of a force plate with stamps, a cutting plate is used as an initial or master mould. According to the inventive method, a direct galvanic shaping process is performed, whereby reproduction errors and manufacturing tolerances are reduced substantially and a highly accurate match is achieved between the force and cutting plate, in addition to achieving a homogeneous distribution of die clearance. By using standardized microtechnical production methods, it is possible to produce large numbers of matching force and cutting plates in a simple, reproductible manner at low cost.
