(EN)This invention relates to novel human organic anion transporter polypeptides and genes encoding such polypeptides. The invention is directed towards the isolation, characterization and use of human organic anion transporter polypeptides for pharmacological screening of substrates, analogues of substrates, and modulators of human organic anion proteins. This invention also provides cell cultures, which stably contain nucleic acid sequences encoding human organic anion transport polypeptides. Such cell lines are useful for screening compounds in vitro to identify and characterize modulators, inhibitors and substrates of human organic anion transporter polypeptides.
(FR)L'invention concerne de nouveaux polypeptides humains transportant des anions organiques et les gènes codant ces polypeptides. L'invention a pour objet d'isoler, de caractériser et d'utiliser les polypeptides humains transportant des anions à des fins de criblage pharmacologique de substrats, d'analogues de substrats et de modulateurs de protéines humaines d'anions organiques. L'invention concerne aussi des cultures cellulaires qui contiennent de façon stable des séquences d'acides nucléiques codant pour les polypeptides humains transportant des anions. Ces lignées cellulaires sont utiles pour cribler des composés in vitro afin d'identifier et de caractériser des modulateurs, des inhibiteurs et des substrats de polypeptides humains transportant des anions.
