Abstract:
The invention concerns a multiply material with fireproofing function (1) for heat and sound insulation comprising at least a fibrous insulating ply (3) and at least a ply with fireproofing function (2) obtained from fire-resistant mineral fibres arranged so as to form a mineral fibre wool and said ply (or plies) with fireproofing function (2) co-operate with the fibrous insulating ply (or plies) to provide the multiply material (1) with heat insulating property. The invention also concerns a method and a device for making said material. Said multiply material enables to make fire-resistant insulating elements, in particular insulating elements for aircraft fuselage.
