(EN)A novel process for the regeneration of PTMSP membranes is disclosed. The regeneration process includes washing a fouled PTMSP membrane with a solution containing at least about 50% butanol in water for a time sufficient to increase the flux and/or selectivity of the membrane. This regeneration process with a butanol containing solution significantly improves both the flux and selectivity of the PTMSP membrane and can regenerate the flux of the PTMSP membrane to the level of a previously unused membrane.
(FR)L'invention concerne un nouveau procédé de régénération de membranes de poly(1-triméthysilyl-1-propyne) (PTMSP). Ce procédé de régénération consiste à laver une membrane encrassée de PTMSP à l'aide d'une solution contenant au moins environ 50 % de butanol dans de l'eau, pendant une durée suffisante pour augmenter le flux et/ou la sélectivité de ladite membrane. Ledit procédé, qui utilise une solution contenant du butanol, améliore de manière significative le flux et la sélectivité de la membrane de PTMSP, et peut régénérer le flux de cette membrane au niveau d'une membrane qui n'a pas été utilisée.
