Abstract:
(EN) A machine (11) for crystallizing a thermoplastic preform or container is constructed from modular subassemblies and utilizes a preheated plug to provide the sole upright support for a workpiece (57) in the crystallizing process. The first modular subassembly includes the workpiece in-feed and plug preheat structures and incorporates the drive apparatus for the entire machine. The opposed end of the crystallizing machine (11) is constructed of a subassembly which operates to provide the turnaround and tensioning takeup for the carrier mechanism transporting the workpieces (11). Positioned between the first subassembly and the opposed end subassembly are heating and cooling processing modules (11, 12) which can be provided in any number depending on the size constraints and workpiece quality restraints desired. The processing modules provide the heating and crystallizing processes for the desired area of the workpiece (57) and the cooling process of the workpiece (57) prior to unloading.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une machine (11) permettant de cristalliser une préforme thermoplastique ou un contenant. Cette machine est fabriquée à partir de sous ensembles modulaires et utilise une tige préchauffée qui sert de seul support vertical à une pièce (57) dans le processus de cristallisation. Le premier sous ensemble modulaire comprend la pièce introduite, les structures préchauffées de bougie et l'appareil d'entraînement de toute la machine. L'extrémité opposée de la machine de cristallisation (11) est constitué d'un sous ensemble dont le fonctionnement permet la mise en oeuvre et la mise en tension du tendeur de bande du mécanisme porteur qui transporte les pièces (11). Des modules de chauffage et de refroidissement (11, 12) sont placés entre le premier sous ensemble et l'extrémité opposée, et le nombre de ces modules dépend des contraintes de taille et de qualité souhaitées. Ces modules permettent d'effectuer le processus de chauffage et de cristallisation dans une zone donnée de la pièce (57) ainsi que le processus de refroidissement de la pièce (57) avant qu'elle ne soit évacuée.
