(EN)A method of controlling a tuneable laser that has been characterised with respect to one or more suitable laser operation points, where each of said operation points is determined by the manner in which the different laser sections (7-10) are controlled in order to operate the laser in a predetermined operation point. The invention is characterised by determining the voltage across the different laser sections (7-10) for different operation points when controlling said laser; and holding the voltage across the different laser sections (7-10) constant when the laser is in operation, such as to maintain a predetermined operation point.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de commander un laser accordable qui a été configuré par rapport à des points d'opération laser adaptés, chacun de ces points d'opération étant déterminé par la manière dont les différentes parties du laser (7-10) sont commandées afin de faire fonctionner ce laser à un point d'opération prédéterminé. Ce procédé consiste à déterminer la tension dans les différentes parties du laser (7-10) pour différents points d'opérations lorsque l'on commande ce laser, et à maintenir cette tension constante dans les différentes partie du laser (7-10) lorsque celui-ci fonctionne, de sorte que le point d'opération prédéterminé soit maintenu.
