Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a gastight closed prismatic nickel-metal hydride cell for electrochemical storage of energy. Said cell comprises at least one positive nickel oxide electrode and at least one negative hydrogen-storing electrode, whereby a hydrophilic separator is disposed between the positive and the negative electrodes. Said cell also includes an alkaline electrolyte or alkaline electrolyte mixture. One or several negative electrodes are provided with a gas-permeable hydrophobic transport element for transporting the gases of the cell atmosphere.
(FR) L'invention concerne un élément nickel-hydrure métallique hermétique, étanche aux gaz, servant à l'accumulation électrochimique d'énergie. Cet élément présente au moins une électrode d'oxyde de nickel positive et au moins une électrode négative accumulant de l'hydrogène, un séparateur hydrophile étant placé entre l'électrode positive et l'électrode négative, ainsi qu'un électrolyte alcalin ou un mélange d'électrolyte alcalin. Une ou plusieurs électrodes négatives sont pourvues d'un élément de transport hydrophobe perméable aux gaz, servant au transport des gaz de l'atmosphère de l'élément.
(DE) Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine gasdicht verschlossene Nickel/Metallhydrid-Zelle für die elektrochemische Speicherung von Energie mit mindestens einer positiven Nickeloxid-Elektrode und mindestens einer Wasserstoff speichernden negativen Elektrode, wobei zwischen der positiven und negativen Elektrode ein hydrophiler Separator angeordnet ist, sowie mit einem alkalischen Elektrolyten oder einer alkalischen Elektrolytmischung, daß eine oder mehrere negative Elektroden mit einem gasdurchlässigen hydrophoben Transportelement zum Transport der Gase der Zellatmosphäre versehen sind.
