Abstract:
(EN) A latex for dip forming which is a latex of a copolymer obtained by polymerizing monomers comprising 10 to 90 wt.% conjugated diene, 0.1 to 20 wt.% ethylenic acid, and 10 to 89.9 wt.% other ethylenic monomer(s) copolymerizable with these monomers, wherein the sum of the amount of the acid groups bonded to or adsorbed on the surface of the copolymer as a component of the latex and that of the acid groups present in the aqueous phase of the copolymer latex is 0.1 to 2 meq, in terms of hydrochloric acid, per g of the copolymer. This latex is molded by dip forming to obtain a molding which has no fear of causing protein allergy, feels soft to the touch, and has excellent mechanical strength.
(FR) Cette invention concerne un latex utilisé pour la formation d'objets par immersion. Ce latex est un copolymère obtenu par polymérisation de monomères comprenant de 10 à 90 % en poids de diène conjugué, de 0,1 à 20 % en poids d'acide éthylénique et de 10 à 89,9 % en poids d'un autre ou d'autres monomères copolymérisables avec ces monomères. La somme ou le volume des groupes acide liés ou adsorbés sur la surface du copolymère en tant que composante du latex, et des groupes acide présents dans la phase aqueuse du latex de copolymère, est de 0,1 à 2 meq en termes d'acide chlorhydrique par g du copolymère. Ce latex moulé par immersion permet d'obtenir un article qui ne présente aucun risque d'allergie aux protéines, est doux aux toucher et possède une excellente résistance mécanique.
