Title (EN) A PROCESS FOR THE CATALYTIC EPOXIDATION OF UNSATURATED COMPOUNDS USING HYDROGEN PEROXIDE
(FR) PROCEDE D'EPOXYDATION CATALYTIQUE DE COMPOSES INSATURES UTILISANT UN PEROXYDE D'HYDROGENE
Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a process for the catalytic epoxidation of unsaturated nitriles or fatty acid esters in a two-phase system using hydrogen peroxide, according to the double phase technique with an organic onium salt as a phase transfer catalyst. The reaction is performed at a pH of 2 or less in the presence of an oxidation catalyst system comprising a component containing the element tungsten and a component containing the element phosphorus.
