(EN)A method and apparatus for processing a received signal in a radio frequency receiver. In-phase and quadrature signal components are detected and a degree of correlation between the detected in-phase and quadrature signal components is then estimated. A correction factor is applied to at least one of said detected in-phase and quadrature signal components to minimise the degree of correlation between them.
(FR)On décrit un procédé et un appareil permettant de traiter un signal reçu dans un récepteur de radio fréquence. Des composantes de signal en-phase et en quadrature sont détectées et un degré de corrélation entre les composantes en-phase et en quadrature du signal est ensuite estimé. Un facteur de correction est appliqué à au moins une des composantes en-phase et en quadrature du signal pour réduire au maximum le degré de corrélation entre ces dernières.
