Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides a novel class of 4,5-diaryl-3($i(2H))-furanone derivatives, which inhibit strongly and selectively COX-2 over COX-1. They are useful to treat inflammation, inflammation-associated disorders, and COX-2 mediated diseases.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une nouvelle classe de dérivés de 4,5-diaryl-3($i(2H))-furanone, qui inhibent fortement et de manière sélective la COX-2 par rapport à la COX-1. Ces dérivés sont utiles pour traiter l'inflammation, des affections associées à l'inflammation et des maladies dépendant de COX-2.
