(EN)An NOx sensor (27) detects an NOx concentration released to the atmosphere from an occlusion type NOx catalyst (25); a total NOx exhaust amount (A) is calculated based on the output from the NOx sensor (27); when a total NOx emission amount (A) reaches an NOx emission decision amount (A¿0?) corresponding to an NOx emission decision amount specified by the NOx Emission Regulation before a running distance (C) reaches a preset running distance (C¿0?), an exhaust air/fuel ratio is changed to a rich air/fuel ratio to thereby efficiently release NOx from the occlusion type NOx catalyst (25); and then a theoretical air/fuel ratio is changed to clean and reduce NOx by a three-way catalyst function.
(FR)Cette invention concerne un capteur de NOx (27) qui détecte une concentration de NOx libérée dans l'atmosphère par un pot catalytique à occlusion (25). A partir du signal émis par le capteur de NOx (27), on calcule la teneur totale des gaz d'échappement en NOx (A). Lorsque cette teneur totale (A) atteint une valeur critique (A¿0?) correspondant à un seuil défini la par la réglementation antipollution NOx avant que la distance parcourue (C) n'atteigne une distance prédéterminée (C¿0?), on enrichit le rapport de manière à libérer efficacement des NOx du pot catalytique à occlusion (25).
