(EN)A process of preparing a catalyst comprising gold on a titanium-containing support. The method involves impregnating a support with a gold compound, a reducing agent, and optionally a promoter metal, wherein the reducing agent and/or the support contains titanium, and optionally heating the impregnated support. The catalyst is useful in the hydro-oxidation of olefins, such as propylene, with oxygen in the presence of hydrogen to olefin oxides, such as propylene oxide.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un catalyseur comprenant de l'or sur un support à base de titane. Ce procédé consiste à imprégner un support avec un composé d'or, un agent réducteur, et éventuellement un métal promoteur. L'agent réducteur et/ou le support contiennent du titane. Ce procédé consiste ensuite à chauffer éventuellement le support imprégné. Le catalyseur présente une grande utilité dans l'hydro-oxydation des oléfines, comme le propylène, avec de l'oxygène en présence d'hydrogène pour les oxyder en oxydes d'oléfines, tels que de l'oxyde de propylène.
