The present invention uses the resilient behaviour of a flexible printed circuit board (10), both to mechanically clamp the components (20) in a permanent manner and to achieve good electrical contacts (24) between conducting parts (12) of the flexible circuit board (10) and the components (20). By cutting the flexible printed circuit board in such a manner that small tab-like, resilient members (12, 16) are formed, the forces caused by elastically deformed resilient members (12, 16) are usable both for mechanically fixing the components (20) and for causing an electrical contact (24). By choosing appropriate sizes of the resilient members (12, 16), the relative strenght of the spring force is increased, which even will be large enough to cause a plastic deformation of the material in the contact points (24) between the conducting resilient members (12) and the component contact members (22). In such a manner, soldering or gluing may be totally omitted.

La présente invention utilise l'élasticité d'une carte à circuit imprimé souple (10), d'une part pour fixer mécaniquement les composants (20) de manière permanente, et d'autre part pour obtenir de bons contacts électriques (24) entre les parties conductrices (12) de la carte à circuit imprimé (10) et les composants (20). En coupant la carte à circuit imprimé souple de façon à former des éléments élastiques (12, 16) comme de petits onglets, on peut utiliser les forces appliquées par les éléments souples (12, 16) élastiquement déformés pour fixer mécaniquement les composants (20), et pour créer un contact électrique (24). En choisissant les tailles appropriées des éléments souples (12, 16),on augmente la contrainte relative de la force ressort, qui sera éventuellement suffisante pour déformer le matériau au niveau des points de contact (24) entre les éléments souples (12) conducteurs et les contacts des composants (22). De cette manière, on peut complètement se passer de soudure ou de collage.
