A switching power supply comprises a switching circuit for generating a predetermined output voltage, a pulse width control circuit for controlling the switching circuit, a circuit for detecting load power, and a variable-frequency oscillator circuit. The switching frequency is varied to prevent the decrease in efficiency when load is less heavy.

L'invention concerne une alimentation à découpage qui comprend un circuit de commutation permettant de produire une tension de sortie prédéterminé, un circuit de réglage de largeur d'impulsion permettant de régler le circuit de découpage, un circuit permettant de détecter le puissance de sortie utile et un circuit oscillateur à fréquence variable.
