A vane assembly for an engine is disclosed, the vane assembly having a vane (10) including a blade (12) having a spindle (16) disposed at one end thereof and a bushing mounted on the spindle. The bushing (40) includes first and second half portions (42), each half portion having a generally semicircular body (44) having protrusions (51) and complementary recesses on the sides of the bodies (44). The first and second half portions (42) are snap fit onto the spindle (16) of the vane (10) such that the protrusion (52) of the second half portion is located in the recess of the first half portion, and the protrusion (52) of the first half portion is located in the recess of the second half portion. Each of the first and second half portions (42) further include a semi-annular flange (46) disposed at the first end of the body portion, the semi-annular flange (46) lying in a plane which is substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the body.

L'invention concerne un ensemble d'aube pour un moteur, l'ensemble d'aube ayant une aube (10) comprenant une lame (12) et reposant sur un support (16) au niveau d'une de ses extrémités et une garniture d'étanchéité montée sur le support. La garniture d'étanchéité (40) comprend des première et seconde moitiés (42), chacune ayant un corps normalement semi-circulaire (44) présentant des protubérances (51) et des évidements complémentaires ménagés sur les côtés des corps (44). Les première et seconde moitiés (42) sont encliquetées sur le support (16) de l'aube (10) de manière que la protubérance (52) de la seconde moitié soit introduite dans l'évidement de la première moitié et que la protubérance (52) de la première moitié soit insérée dans l'évidement de la seconde moitié. Chaque moitié (42) comprend en outre un rebord semi-annulaire (46) disposé au niveau de la première extrémité du corps et dans un plan sensiblement perpendiculaire à l'axe longitudinal du corps.
