The invention relates to the use of aqueous and/or water-dispersible polymers on the basis of lysine, arginine, ornithine, tryptophan or the mixtures thereof as additive for rinsing water with which hard surfaces of objects made of metal, glass, porcelain, synthetic materials and lacquered surfaces of the mentioned materials can be rinsed again.
