Abstract
(EN)
A restraint (96) for a parked swap body container (10) includes a face stop (42) that can be selectively positioned to a restraining position and a release position. In the restraining position, the face stop is adapted to engage a front face (20) of the container to limit the extent to which the parked container can move away from an edge of a truck loading dock. In the release position, the face stop allows a truck to remove the container from the loading dock. The restraint may also include a frame that can be repositioned longitudinally to accommodate containers of various lengths. A fine adjustment can be added to further limit horizontal movement of the container. And an optional bottom support could engage the bottom of the container to provide even more support.

L'invention concerne un élément d'immobilisation (96) pour un conteneur (10) de carrosserie mobile garée comprenant une butée de face (42) placée dans une position d'immobilisation et dans une position de libération. Dans la position d'immobilisation, la butée (20) entre en contact avec la face avant du conteneur pour limiter la distance de déplacement du conteneur garé sur un bord du quai de chargement de camions. Dans la position de libération, la butée permet au camion de retirer le conteneur du quai de chargement. La butée comprend aussi une structure conçue pour recevoir des conteneurs de différentes longueurs. Un réglage précis permet d'immobiliser le mouvement horizontal du conteneur et un support de fond peut être placé dans le fond du conteneur afin d'assurer un meilleur appui.
