An isolation mechanism for use in conjunction with a seating device including a track assembly having an inner track (18), an outer track (16) reciprocally movable on the inner track, and a latch mechanism (32, 33) for adjustably locking the outer track in relation to the inner track. The isolation mechanism includes a latch block (24) carrying the latch mechanism and having a bore (20) extending therethrough. The latch block is mounted to the outer track by a first pin (50) and a second pin (52) each affixed to the outer track and received by opposing ends of the bore through the latch block. The first pin and the second pin are axially aligned for reciprocating movement of the latch block thereon.

L'invention concerne un mécanisme d'isolation utilisable de pair avec un siège. Ce mécanisme comprend un ensemble rail comprenant un rail intérieur et un rail extérieur qui peut se déplacer dans une direction aller-retour sur le rail intérieur, et un mécanisme de verrouillage permettant de verrouiller de manière réglable le rail exterieur sur le rail intérieur. Ce mécanisme d'isolation comprend un bloc de verrouillage qui supporte le mécanisme de verrouillage et comporte un passage traversant. Ce bloc de verrouillage est monté sur le rail extérieur au moyen d'un premier axe et d'un second axe fixés chacun sur le rail extérieur et enfilés dans les deux extrémités opposées du passage traversant du bloc de verrouillage. Le premier et le second axe sont alignés dans la direction axiale de manière à permettre un mouvement aller-retour du bloc de verrouillage sur les axes.
