The present invention provides a method of joining a mating face of a first through duct (68) to a mating face of a second duct (66). Specifically, the method includes bonding the first duct mating face (68) to the second duct mating face (66) to form a bonded structure while the ducts are supported in alignment with each other on an alignment member (56). Once so bonded, the alignment member (56) may be removed from the bonded structure. Advantageously, the method of the present invention provides an approach for accurately joining ducts together such that the joint is clean, accurate, nondistorted, durable, and impermeable to metal ions. Furthermore, the resultant joints are extremely uniform, and are easy and economical to make using simple equipment, thus making the present invention particularly useful in mass production.

Cette invention a trait à un procédé de raccordement des deux faces d'accouplement de deux conduits de passage (68, 66). Elle consiste, plus précisément, à raccorder la face d'accouplement du premier conduit (68) à celle du second (66) de manière à constituer une structure couplée alors que les conduits sont maintenus dans un même alignement par un élément (56) prévu à cet effet. Un fois la structure ainsi formée, il est possible d'enlever l'élément d'alignement (56). Pour un meilleur résultat, ce procédé développe une technique de couplage précis de conduits se soldant par l'obtention d'un raccord propre, juste, sans distorsions, durable et imperméable à des ions métalliques. Ces raccords sont, de surcroît, des plus homogènes et faciles et économiques à réaliser à l'aide d'un équipement simple ; cette invention se prête donc à une production à grande échelle.
