Bei einem Verfahren zum Behandeln von Kunststoffmaterial, insbesondere Polyäthylenterephthalat, wird das Material relativ tiefer Temperatur zunächst unter Erwärmung kristallisiert, bevor das Material einer Erhitzung bzw. Kondensation in der festen Phase zugeführt wird. Das Material wird wenigstens 10 Minuten lang in mindestens zwei Räumen (2) eines Gerätes einem heissen Behandlungsgas ausgesetzt und damit zum Kristallisieren auf eine Temperatur oberhalb von 135 °C, z.B. 140-180 °C, gebracht, und anschliessend in einem ein bis acht Stufen aufweisenden Vorerhitzungsraum (3) auf eine Temperatur von mindestens 185 °C, vorzugsweise mindestens 200 °C und insbesondere auf etwa 220 °C gebracht.

The invention relates to a method for treating plastic material, especially polyethylene terephthalate, wherein the relatively low temperature material is initially crystallized by heating before subjecting said material to heating or condensation in the solid phase. The material is then exposed to a hot treatment gas for at least 10 minutes in at least two chambers (2) of an apparatus and crystallized at a temperature above 135° C, e.g. 140-180° C. The material is subsequently heated in a preheating chamber (3) having at least one to eight stages at a temperature of at least 185° C, preferably at least 200° C and more preferably around 220° C.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour traiter une matière plastique, notamment du polyéthylène téréphtalate. Selon ce procédé, on réchauffe tout d'abord le matériau, qui présente une température relativement basse, pour le cristalliser puis on le chauffe ou le condense dans la phase solide. On expose ensuite ce matériau à un gaz de traitement chaud, pendant au moins 10 minutes, dans au moins deux chambres (2) d'un appareil, ce qui entraîne sa cristallisation à une température supérieure à 135 °C, par exemple de 140 à 180 °C. Enfin, dans une chambre de préchauffage (3) comprenant un à huit étages, on porte le matériau à une température d'au moins 185 °C, de préférence à au moins 200 °C et en particulier à environ 220 °C.
