Abstract

A method of stripping cured paint from a non-ferrous substrate comprising: a) adding a stripping composition to a strip tank, said stripping composition consisting of an alkylphenol-hydroxypolyoxyethylene and triethanolamine; b) immersing said non-ferrous substrate in said strip tank containing said stripping composition; and c) heating said stripping composition to 350 degrees F for approximately 60 minutes, wherein cured paint is removed from said non-ferrous substrate.

L'invention concerne un procédé de décapage de peinture endurcie sur des substrats non ferreux comportant les étapes suivantes qui consistent à: a) ajouter une composition de décapage dans une cuve de décapage, ladite composition décapante étant constituée d'un alkylphénol-hydropolyoxyethylène et de la triéthanolamine; b) immerger ledit substrat non ferreux dans la cuve de décapage contenant ladite composition décapante; et c) chauffer ladite composition décapante jusqu'à 350 degrés F pendant environ 60 minutes, durant lesquelles la peinture endurcie se trouve éliminée du substrat non ferreux.
