Verfahren zur Herstellung einer integral asymmetrischen hydrophoben polyolefinischen Membran mit einer schwammartigen, offenporigen mikroporösen Stützstruktur und einer Trennschicht mit gegenüber der Stützstruktur dichterer Struktur über einen thermisch induzierten flüssig-flüssig-Phasenseparationsprozess. Eine Lösung mindestens eines Polyolefins in einem Lösemittelsystem, bestehend aus einer Verbindung A und einer Verbindung B, wird zu einem Formkörper extrudiert. Die Verbindung A ist ein schwacher Löser und die Verbindung B ein Nichtlöser für das Polymer. Nach Verlassen des Formwerkzeugs wird der Formkörper mittels eines festen oder flüssigen Abkühlmediums, welches das Polymer bei Temperaturen bis zur Werkzeugtemperatur nicht löst und chemisch nicht mit ihm reagiert, bis zur Phasentrennung und Erstarrung der polymerreichen Phase abgekühlt.

The invention relates to a method for producing an integrally asymmetrical hydrophobic polyolefinic membrane with a sponge-like, open-pored microporous support structure and an separating layer with a structure which is denser than the support structure, by means of a thermally induced liquid-liquid phase separation process. A solution of at least one polyolefin in a solvent system consisting of a compound A and a compound B, is extruded to obtain a shaped body. Compound A is a weak solvent and compound B is a non-solvent for the polymer. After leaving the moulding tool, the shaped body is cooled using a solid or liquid cooling medium which will not dissolve the polymer at temperatures up to the temperature of the tool and which will not chemically react with the polymer, until phase separation occurs and the polymer-rich phase hardens.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour la production d'une membrane polyoléfinique hydrophobe intégralement asymétrique présentant une structure support microporeuse à pores ouverts spongieuse et une couche séparatrice à structure plus dense que la structure support, par un processus de séparation de phases liquide-liquide induit thermiquement. Dans le procédé selon l'invention, on extrude une solution d'au moins une polyoléfine dans un système solvant constitué d'un composé A et d'un composé B afin d'obtenir un corps moulé. Le composé A est un solvant faible et le composé B un non-solvant pour le polymère. A la sortie de l'outil de moulage, on refroidit le corps moulé à l'aide d'un agent de refroidissement solide ou liquide jusqu'à séparation des phases et solidification de la phase riche en polymère. L'agent de refroidissement utilisé ne dissout pas le polymère pour des températures allant jusqu'à la température de l'outil et ne réagit pas chimiquement avec lui.
