Drugs containing as the active ingredient compounds represented by general formula (I) or physiologically acceptable salts thereof (I): wherein R1 is dicarba-$i(closo)-dodecaboranyl which may be substituted with lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, carboxyl, or the like; R2 is carboxyl, lower alkoxycarbonyl, or hydroxyl; and X is a single bond or a connecting group, e.g., -CO-Y1- [wherein Y1 is oxygen or -N(R3)- (wherein R3 is hydrogen or lower alkyl)].

L'invention concerne des médicaments contenant, en tant que principes actifs, des composés représentés par la formule générale (I) ou des sels de ceux-ci, acceptables au plan physiologique. Dans ladite formule (I), R1 représente dicarba-$i(closo)-dodécaboranyle qui peut être substitué par alkyle inférieur, alcényle inférieur, carboxyle ou similaire; R2 représente carboxyle, alcoxycarboxyle inférieur ou hydroxyle; et X représente une liaison simple ou un groupe de liaison, comme par exemple, -CO-Y1 [Y1 représentant oxygène ou-N(R3)-(R3 représentant hydrogène ou alkyle inférieur)].
