It is shown that the potency of anti-cancer drugs, here exemplified by doxorubicin, can be increased by the use of polyunsaturated fatty acid amides and in particular specific combinations of such compounds, forming complexes with doxorubicin. Further, a modified form of doxorubicin is presented.

Cette invention montre que l'on peut augmenter l'efficacité de médicaments anticancéreux, tels que la doxorubicine, grâce à l'utilisation d'amides d'acides gras polyinsaturés et en particulier de combinaisons spécifiques de composés de ce type, formant des complexes avec la doxorubicine. Cette invention concerne également une forme modifiée de doxorubicine.
