A method of transmitting one or more data streams to a mobile terminal (410) having multiple network connections, the method comprising the steps of sending the one or more data streams from a correspondent host (420) to a home agent (430) located in the home network of the mobile terminal (410), the mobile terminal (410) sending a request for the data stream to be transmitted by the correspondent host (420) and the mobile terminal (410) communicating with the home agent (430) to transmit the network location of the mobile terminal (410) to the home agent (430); and then forwarding the one or more data streams via the foreign agent (450) to the mobile terminal (410), characterised in that the mobile terminal (410) communicates network connectivity data to the home agent (430) and that the forwarding of the one or more data streams is dependent upon the network connectivity data received by the home agent (430).

L'invention porte sur un procédé de transmission à un poste mobile (410) relié à plusieurs réseaux d'un ou plusieurs courants de données, consistant à transmettre le ou les courants de données reçues d'un hôte correspondant (420) à un agent résidant (430) situé dans le réseau de rattachement du poste mobile lequel émet une demande de transmission du courant de données à transmettre reçue de l'hôte correspondant (420) alors que le poste mobile (410) communique avec l'agent résident (430) pour transmettre la position du poste mobile (410) à l'agent résident (430), puis à transmettre le ou les courants de données via l'agent étranger (450) au poste mobile (410), lequel communique à l'agent résident (430) les données de connectivité vec le réseau, la transmission du ou des courants de données dépendant desdites données de connectivité reçues par l'agent résident (430).
