Abstract
(EN)
A detector (104) for detecting known symbols determines whether a signal is transmitted. If the detector (104) does not detect the reception of a signal, a circuit (105) for setting a de-spreading code controls a de-spreading circuit (103) to make a switch to the spreading code for a common control channel, and the de-spreading circuit (103) receives a common control channel signal. A circuit (106) for extracting known symbols extracts known symbols in the communication channel signal or in the common control channel signal. An angular-velocity detector (107) detects the angular velocity of the known symbols extracted by the symbol-extracting circuit (106). An AFC (108) performs automatic frequency control using the detected angular velocity.
