Abstract

A self-contained and highly portable assaying system includes a luminometer (10) and a detector cap assembly (30). The detector cap assembly (30), which is structured with a first portion (32) and a second portion (40), is capable of collecting a specimen, and causing a bioluminescent or chemiluminescent assaying reaction to be conducted in a light-tight environment within the detector cap assembly (devoid of any available ambient light). The luminometer (10) is structured to be removably fixed to the detector cap assembly (30) to sense low level luminescent emissions produced by the assaying reaction. A quantified result is subsequently provided to a user or operator that indicates the outcome of the assaying activities.

L'invention porte sur un système d'analyse autonome, portable comprenant un luminomètre (10) et un ensemble (30) de protection détecteur. Cet ensemble (30), formé d'une première partie (32) et d'une seconde partie (40), est capable de prélever un échantillon et de générer une réaction d'analyse bioluminescente ou chimiluminescente devant être effectuée dans un environnement ne laissant pas passer la lumière dans l'ensemble de protection détecteur (dépourvu de toute lumière ambiante). Le luminomètre (10) est conçu pour être fixé amovible à l'ensemble (30) de protection détecteur de façon à détecter les faibles émissions luminescentes produites par la réaction d'analyse. On envoie ensuite un résultat quantifié à un utilisateur ou opérateur qui indique les résultats de l'analyse.
