A novel binder resin composition, characterized by comprising a carboxyl-bearing chlorinated syndiotactic polyolefin resin having a chlorine content of 0.1 to 40 wt. %, a content of grafts of $g(a),$g(b)-unsaturated carboxylic acids and/or anhydrides thereof of 0.5 to 10 wt. % and a weight-average molecular weight of 30000 to 220000, and an organic solvent. Carboxyl-bearing chlorinated syndiotactic polyolefin resins prepared from polyolefins produced by using a metallocene compound exhibit good liquidity even when their chlorine contents are low, and are excellent in close adhesion to polyolefinic materials and solvent resistance.

L'invention porte sur une nouvelle composition de résine liante faite d'une résine polyoléfine syndiotactique chlorée à groupe carboxyle présentant une teneur en chlore de 0,1 à 40 % en poids, un contenu en greffes d'acides carboxyliques $g(a), $g(b) non saturés ou leurs anhydrides à raison de 0,5 à 10 % en poids, et d'un poids moléculaire compris entre 30 000 et 220 000, dans un solvant organique. Les résines polyoléfines syndiotactiques chlorées à groupe carboxyle préparées à partir de polyoléfines à l'aide d'un composé de métallocène présentent une bonne fluidité même pour une faible teneur en chlore, une excellente adhérence proche sur matériaux polyoléfiniques, et une excellente résistance aux solvants.
