Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Glas-Kunstoff-Verbundfolie und ein Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung. Herkömmliche Glas-Kunststoff-Verbundfolien sind speziell auf die Anforderungen ihrer weiteren Verwendung zugeschnitten. Die neue Verbundfolie soll möglichst breit einsetzbar sein und dabei ohne grossen Aufwand herstellbar sein. Gelöst wird dies durch eine Glas-Kunststoff-Verbundfolie, die ohne Zuhilfenahme von Klebstoff mit einem Polymer in seiner flüssigen Phase beschichtet wird. Eine derartige Folie weist eine hohe Oberflächengüte und eine niedrige optische Retardation auf. Die Glas-Kunststoff-Verbundfolie eignet sich besonders zur Herstellung von Leuchtanzeigen auf der Basis von Flüssigkristallen oder lichtemittierenden Schichten.

The invention relates to a glass-plastic composite film and a method for producing same. Conventional glass-plastic composite films are tailored specifically to the requirements of their intended use. The invention aims to create a new composite film which can be used in as wide a range of applications as possibly and is uncomplicated to produce. To this end a glass-plastic composite film is coated with a liquid phase polymer without the use of adhesive. Such a film is characterized by a high-quality surface finish and low optical retardation. It is particularly suitable for the production of illuminated displays on the basis of liquid crystals or light-emitting layers.

L'invention concerne une feuille composite verre-matière plastique et son procédé de production. Les feuilles composites verre-matière plastique classiques répondent aux exigences spécifiques de leur domaine d'utilisation. L'invention vise à créer une nouvelle feuille composite pouvant être utilisée dans un éventail de domaines le plus large possible et pouvant être produite sans grande complexité. A cet effet, la feuille composite verre-matière plastique selon l'invention est revêtue, sans adhésif, d'un polymère en phase liquide. Cette feuille présente une grande qualité de surface et un faible retard optique. Elle s'utilise en particulier pour la production d'affichages lumineux à base de cristaux liquides ou de couches photoémettrices.
