Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Konstanthalten der mittleren Spaltbreite zwischen einer Sonotrode eines Ultraschall-Systems und einem als Gegenfläche ausgebildeten Werkzeug einer Ultraschall-Schneideinrichtung zum Schneiden und/oder Verschweißen von unterschiedlichen Materialien, wie zum Beispiel von Kunststofolien, kunststoffhaltigen Textilgeweben mittels eines Schneidwerkzeuges, unter Verwendung einer Verstelleinrichtung. Die Aufgabe der Erfindung, ein gattungsgemäßes Verfahren zum Konstanthalten der mittleren Spaltbreite einer Ultraschall-Schneideinrichtung zu entwickeln, mit dem die Mängel der bekannten Verfahren und Einrichtungen vermieden werden und mit dem gewährleistet ist, daß unterschiedliche Materialien, wie Kunststofolien, kunststoffhaltige Textilgewebe zuverlässig und effektiv mit gleichbleibender Qualität durch die von äußeren Einflußfaktoren unabhängige Regelung einer konstanten, definierten optimalen mittleren Spaltbreite geschweißt und/oder geschnitten werden können, wird dadurch gelöst, daß die Berührungszeit zwischen der Sonotrode und einer Berührfläche (23) zum Konstanthalten des Abstandes zwischen der Sonotrode (2) und mindestens einer Gegenfläche (3) über eine Regelung konstant gehalten wird.

The invention relates to a method for keeping constant the mean gap width between a sonotrode of an ultrasound system and a tool configured as a counter surface and forming part of an ultrasonic cutting device used for cutting and/or welding different materials, for example plastic films and woven textiles containing plastic, using a cutting tool and with the aid of an adjustment device. The aim of the invention is to provide a method for keeping constant the mean gap width of an ultrasonic cutting device, which method avoids the drawbacks of known methods and devices and ensures that different materials, such as plastic films and woven textiles containing plastic, can be welded and/or cut reliably, efficiently and with constant quality by the fact that a constant, defined, optimum mean gap width is adjusted independently of external factors. To this end the contact time between the sonotrode and a contact surface (23) serving to keep constant the distance between the sonotrode (2) and at least one counter surface (3) is maintained constant via an adjustment mechanism.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour maintenir constante la largeur moyenne d'un espace entre une sonotrode d'un système à ultrasons et un outil, se présentant sous la forme d'une surface correspondante, d'une unité de coupe à ultrasons servant à couper et/ou souder différents matériaux, par exemple des feuilles de matière plastique, des tissus textiles renfermant des matières synthétiques, au moyen d'un outil de coupe, à l'aide d'un dispositif de réglage. L'invention vise à créer un procédé pour maintenir constante la largeur moyenne de l'espace d'une unité de coupe à ultrasons, ledit procédé permettant d'éviter les inconvénients des procédés et dispositifs connus et d'assurer le soudage et/ou le découpage de différents matériaux, par exemple de feuilles de matière plastique, des tissus textiles renfermant des matières synthétiques, de manière fiable et efficace, avec une qualité constante, au moyen d'une régulation indépendante de facteurs extérieurs, permettant de maintenir une largeur moyenne d'espace optimale, définie, constante. A cet effet, le temps de contact entre la sonotrode et une surface de contact (23) servant à maintenir constante la distance entre la sonotrode (2) et au moins une surface correspondante (3) est maintenu constant par l'intermédiaire d'une régulation.
