A method of manufacturing a brake shoe, comprising the steps of laminating at least one band-shaped friction lining on a brake shoe main body through an adhesive agent layer so as to form a laminated body, bringing a plurality of releasable heat resisting rubber-made elastic members which are installed in a rigid holder into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the friction lining, and heating while pressing the laminated body by pressing these elastic members against the laminated body in inner radial direction so as to bond the brake shoe main body to the friction lining; and those devices used for the method.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un sabot de frein. Ce procédé consiste à laminer au moins un revêtement de friction en forme de bande sur le corps principal du sabot de frein à l'aide d'une couche d'un agent adhésif afin de former un corps laminé. Ce procédé consiste ensuite à amener une pluralité d'éléments élastiques, détachables, résistants à la chaleur et constitués de caoutchouc, lesquels sont installés sur un support rigide, en contact avec la surface périphérique extérieure du revêtement de friction. Ce procédé consiste enfin à chauffer et à comprimer simultanément le corps laminé en comprimant lesdits éléments élastiques contre le corps laminé dans une direction radiale intérieure, de manière à lier le corps principal du sabot de frein au revêtement de friction. L'invention concerne également les dispositifs utilisés pendant ledit procédé.
