Abstract

A microelectronic connection component is provided with leads (22) having a surface (36) wettable by a bonding material such as a solder at the tips (26) of the leads which are intended to be bonded with microelectronic devices. The leads have non-wettable surfaces (38) bounding the wettable surfaces. During bonding, the non-wettable surfaces confine liquid bonding material such as liquid solder and prevent the liquid bonding material (40) from spreading along the leads.

La présente invention concerne un composant de connexion microélectrique comportant des fils (22) à surface (36) mouillable par un matériau de connexion, tel qu'une soudure sur les pointes (26) des fils devant être connectés avec des dispositifs microélectriques. Ces fils présentent des surfaces non mouillables (38) reliant les surfaces mouillables.
