Abstract
(EN)
An organic electroluminescence device having organic compound layers which include an organic luminescent layer interposed between a pair of electrodes and at least one of which is made of an organic compound material containing less than 1000 ppm of impurities. The device is lightweight and flat and is applicable to a display of low-voltage drive type. The luminance does not deteriorate even after a long-term drive, and is excellent in durability.

L'invention concerne un dispositif électroluminescent organique comportant des couches d'un composé organique. L'une des couches est une couche luminescente organique interposée entre une paire d'électrodes et au moins une couche est constituée d'un composé organique contenant moins de 1000 ppm d'impuretés. Le dispositif, léger et plat, peut être utilisé dans un afficheur basse tension. La luminance ne se détériore pas même après une longue durée d'utilisation et possède une excellente durabilité.
