The invention relates to a method for reduction of noise in an audio signal containing noise and a target signal, the method comprising, providing at least two input signals; processing the input signals by means of an independent component analysis; hereby determining statistical dependencies of signal elements of the two input signals and determining whether statistical dependent signal elements form part of the target signal; outputting a part of the audio signal. The invention further relates to a device for use in reducing noise in an audio signal containing noise and a target signal.

Cette invention concerne un procédé permettant de réduire le bruit dans un signal audio qui comprend du bruit et un signal cible. Ce procédé comprend les étapes suivantes: disposer d'au moins deux signaux d'entrée; traiter les signaux d'entrée par une analyse des composantes indépendantes; déterminer ainsi les dépendances statistiques des éléments de signal des deux signaux d'entrée, et déterminer si les éléments de signaux à dépendance statistique font partie du signal cible; et enfin, émettre une partie du signal audio. Cette invention concerne également un dispositif qui permet de réduire le bruit dans un signal audio comprenant du bruit et un signal cible.
