A panel mount speaker system (10) including a housing (12) having flange and wall portions (13, 14), a locating portion (16) defining a primary support surface (18) as a concave annular spherical segment; a secondary support member (30) defining a secondary support surface (34) as a concave spherical segment opposite a main pivot point (19); a main speaker mount (20) having an outwardly facing primary engagement surface (22) slidably engaging the primary support surface; a main speaker unit (24) coaxially mounted to the main speaker mount; a secondary mount member (36) fastened to the stator element (28) of the main speaker unit and having an outwardly facing secondary engagement surface (38) slidably engaging the secondary support surface; an auxiliary speaker (40); a grill strcture (42) pivotally supporting the auxiliary speaker forwardly of the main speaker unit; a crossover network (46) connected to the main speaker unit and the auxiliary speaker; a circuit panel (48) mounting elements of the crossover network oriented and supported perpendicular to the housing axis (15), the panel flexing in response to axial loading of the secondary support member for preloading sliding engagement of the main speaker mount.

L'invention concerne un système d'enceintes monté sur panneau (10) comprenant un logement (12) doté de parties rebord et paroi (13,14), une partie de positionnement (16) définissant une surface de support primaire (18) en forme de segment sphérique annulaire concave; un élément de support secondaire (30) définissant une surface de support secondaire (34) en forme de segment sphérique concave opposé à un point d'articulation principal (19); un support principal (20) d'enceinte présentant une surface d'engagement primaire tournée vers l'extérieur (22) s'engageant avec la surface de support primaire de manière coulissante; une unité d'enceinte principale (24) montée coaxialement au support principal d'enceinte; un élément de support secondaire (36) fixé à l'élément stator (28) de l'unité d'enceinte principale et comportant une surface d'engagement secondaire tournée vers l'extérieur (38) s'engageant avec la surface de support secondaire de manière coulissante; une enceinte auxiliaire (40); une grille (42) supportant de manière pivotante l'enceinte auxiliaire à l'avant de l'unité d'enceinte principale; un filtre passif (46) relié à l'unité d'enceinte principale et à l'enceinte auxiliaire; un circuit panneau sur lequel sont montés des éléments du filtre passif orientés et supportés perpendiculairement à l'axe du logement, le panneau fléchissant en réaction à une charge axiale de l'élément de support secondaire, permettant ainsi d'exercer une charge initiale pour l'introduction par coulissement du support principal d'enceinte.
