Abstract

A data transmission method for transmitting data from a first node to a second node, in which an IP address is generated from the node identifier of a node and a home prefix representing the sub-net to which the node is normally connected, a data packet having the generated IP address is generated and sent to a router of the sub-net to which a second node is normally connected, and the router adds a header describing the destination of the second node to the data packet and sends the data packet to the second node. By such a method, transfer transparency is realized without increasing the size of the packet header.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de transmission de données permettant de transmettre des données d'un premier noeud à un second noeud, dans lequel une adresse IP est produite à partir de l'identificateur de noeud d'un noeud donné et d'un préfixe local représentant le sous-réseau auquel le noeud est normalement connecté. Un paquet de données portant l'adresse IP produite est généré puis envoyé à un routeur du sous-réseau auquel un second noeud est normalement connecté. Le routeur rajoute au paquet de données un en-tête portant la destination du second noeud, puis le renvoie au second noeud. Grâce à cette invention, on aboutit à une transparence de transfert sans augmenter la taille de l'en-tête de paquet.
