A transceiver of a dual-band radio is provided that selectively transmits and receives on either of a first frequency and a second frequency wherein the transceiver includes an integrated circuit having a power amplifier configured to amplify signals for transmission on a first frequency, and a low-noise amplifier configured to amplify signals received on the second frequency. The transceiver may further include a second integrated circuit having a power amplifier configured to amplify signals for transmission on a second frequency, and a low-noise amplifier configured to amplify signals received on the first frequency.

L'invention porte sur un émetteur-récepteur de radio double bande qui émet et reçoit sélectivement sur l'une et l'autre des première et seconde fréquences. L'émetteur-récepteur comprend un circuit intégré doté d'un amplificateur de puissance configuré de façon à amplifier des signaux pour transmettre sur une première fréquence, et d'un amplificateur à faible bruit configuré pour amplifier des signaux reçus sur la seconde fréquence. L'émetteur-récepteur peut aussi comporter un second circuit intégré doté d'un amplificateur de puissance configuré pour amplifier des signaux pour transmettre sur une seconde fréquence, et d'un amplificateur à faible bruit configuré pour amplifier des signaux reçus sur la première fréquence.
