Abstract

A pre-moulded housing for electrical switching apparatus has incorporated therein a vacuum interrupter (1) surrounded by a silicone rubber sleeve (2). The outer surface of the sleeve (2) and the locating cavity (5) for the interrupter (1) have complementary tapered mating surfaces to enable removable location of the interrupter (1) in the housing (6) under axial tension. The insulating housing (6) has a side arm for a conductor. The side arm is coupled to the main housing body by a tapered socket and spigot joint effected by a temperature differential shrink fit of the socket onto the spigot.

On incorpore dans un logement prémoulé d'un appareil de commutation électrique un interrupteur à vide isolant (1) entouré par un manchon de caoutchouc au silicium (2). La surface extérieure du manchon (2) et la cavité réceptrice (5) de l'interrupteur (1) présentent des surfaces d'assemblage en cône complémentaires, pour permettre le positionnement amovible de l'interrupteur (1) dans le logement (6) sous tension axiale. Le logement isolant (6) possède un bras latéral pour un conducteur. Le bras latéral est couplé au logement principal par une douille conique et un assemblage à emboîtement est réalisé par ajustement de la douille sur l'emboîtement après rétrécissement dû au différentiel de température.
