A state-event engine manages behavior over time in response to events in deterministic fashion from user-supplied rules and policies for a set of dynamic objects. The campaign engine (20) selectively generates and stores a campaign population, representing different types of marketing campaigns. A collection of dynamic object data stores maintains data on the corresponding marketing agent population, resource population, and listing population. A matching process orders members of the listing populations based on the target of at least two members of the campaign population such that a set of offers to buy and offers to sell the same resources is created. A prediction engine (22) processes historical data to predict how campaigns can best match buyer (32) to seller (34). Software agents negotiate on behalf of buyer and seller identify potential deals. The system is capable of being implemented using computer network and web-based technology.

Ce système comprend un moteur état-événement qui gère d'une manière déterministe le comportement dans le temps en réponse à des événements, à partir de règles et de directives fournies par l'utilisateur pour une série d'objets dynamiques. Un moteur (20) de campagne génère et mémorise sélectivement un groupe de campagnes représentants différents types de campagnes de marketing. Un ensemble de mémoires de données objet dynamiques stocke des données relatives aux groupes correspondants d'agents de marketing, de ressources et de listes. Un procédé d'appariement classe les éléments du groupe de listes en fonction de l'objectif d'au moins deux éléments du groupe de campagnes, de manière à créer une série d'offres d'achat et d'offres de vente pour les même ressources. Un moteur (22) de prédiction traite les données historiques afin de prédire la meilleure manière de mettre en relation les acheteurs (32) et les vendeurs (34). Le système comprend en outre des logiciels qui se chargent de négocier pour le compte de l'acheteur et du vendeur et d'identifier les marchés potentiels.
