Methods of controlling manufacturing processes manuracturing, for example, absorbent articles. A target parameter to be measured is established, as are acceptable conditions of the target parameter. The target parameter is detected with first and second replications of determinations of the condition of the goods using multiple independent determinors, for example multiple sensors, or multiple replications using a common determinor, for example software instructions for analyzing a full digital vision image. Multiple determinations are taken at sites which are selected for their prospects for indicating acceptable conditions of the parameter. The method includes developing a measurement strategy, programming a computer to use appropriate analysis tools to evaluate the determination signals, transmitting the signals to the computer, and processing the signals according to an appropriate method.

La présente invention concerne des procédés de contrôle de processus de fabrication, comme par exemple d'articles absorbants. Cette invention consiste d'abord à établir d'une part un paramètre voulu devant être mesuré et d'autre part les conditions acceptables de ce paramètre. Elle consiste ensuite à détecter le paramètre voulu avec des première et seconde répétitions de détermination de condition de produits en utilisant de multiples déterminants indépendants, par exemple des capteurs multiples, ou des répétitions multiples en utilisant un déterminant commun, par exemple des instructions de logiciel pour analyser une image numérique à grande visibilité. De plus, ce procédé consiste à sélectionner des déterminants multiples sur des sites choisis pour leurs perspectives d'indication des conditions acceptables du paramètre. En l'occurrence, ce procédé consiste à développer une stratégie de mesure, programmer un ordinateur à utiliser des outils d'analyse appropriées pour évaluer les signaux de détermination, transmettre les signaux à l'ordinateur, et enfin, traiter ces signaux selon un procédé approprié.
