Abstract

An in-line bell pipe is provided, formed by joining at feast two corrugated sections of the pipe (12) having a male portion (18) and a female portion (20) to connect the corrugated sections (12). Each corrugated section (12) has a plurality of first corrugations (22) having a crest (25) and a valley (28). with the distance between the crest (25) and valley (28) of the first corrugation (22) being a first distance, The male portion (18) of each corrugated section (12) has at least one second corrugation (32) and one third corrugation (42), which each second corrugation (32) and each third corrugation (42) having a respective crest (35, 45) and valley (38, 48) and with the distance between the respective crests and valleys being a second distance and a third distance, respectively. The second distance and the third distance each are less than the first distance. The crest (45) of the third corrugation (42) also has a recessed area (55) that accommodates a sealing element (60), with the sealing element (60) being retained in the recessed area (55) and the female portion(20).

Cette invention concerne un conduit à tulipe intégrée, ledit conduit étant formé par assemblage d'au moins deux parties de conduit cannelées, comprenant une partie mâle et une partie femelle, pour connecter les parties cannelées. Chacune des parties cannelées possède une pluralité de premières cannelures, constituées chacune d'un sommet et d'un creux, la distance séparant le sommet et le creux des premières cannelures correspondant à une première distance. La partie mâle de chaque partie cannelée possède au moins une deuxième cannelure et une troisième cannelure, chacune des deuxièmes cannelures et chacune des troisièmes cannelures étant constituée d'un sommet et d'un creux, et la distance séparant respectivement les sommets et les creux correspondant respectivement à une deuxième distance et une troisième distance. La deuxième distance et la troisième distance sont chacune inférieures à la première distance. Le sommet de la troisième cannelure comporte également une zone en retrait destinée à recevoir un élément d'étanchéification, ledit élément d'étanchéification se trouvant logé entre la zone en retrait et la partie femelle.
