Eine Brennkraftmaschine hat mehrere Zylinder, denen elektromechanisch betätigte Gaswechselventile zugeordnet sind. Nach einer Unterbrechung der Betätigung mindestens eines Gaswechselventils (2, 3) eines Zylinders (1) wird dieser nach der Wiederaufnahme der Gaswechselventilbetätigung zuerst mit verringerter Last und angepaßten Steuerparametern betrieben. So ist nach Unterbrechung der Betätigung mindestens eines Gaswechselventils (2, 3) eine sichere Funktion der elektromechanisch betätigten Gaswechselventile (2, 3) gewährleistet.

An internal combustion engine comprises a plurality of cylinders to which electromechanically actuated gas exchange valves are assigned. After the actuation of at least one gas exchange valve (2, 3) of a cylinder (1) has been interrupted, said gas exchange valve is operated at first with a decreased load and with adapted control parameters after the same resumes actuation. A reliable functioning of the electromechanically actuated gas exchange valves (2, 3) is guaranteed in this manner after the actuation of at least one gas exchange valve (2, 3) has been interrupted.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour remettre en marche un cylindre d'un moteur à combustion interne à plusieurs cylindres, auxquels sont associées des soupapes de changement des gaz à actionnement électromécanique. Après une interruption de l'actionnement d'au moins une soupape de changement des gaz (2, 3) d'un cylindre (1), ce dernier, après la remise en marche de l'actionnement de ladite soupape de changement des gaz, fonctionne tout d'abord avec une charge réduite et des paramètres de commande adaptés. Ce procédé assure ainsi, après une interruption de l'actionnement d'au moins une soupape de changement des gaz (2, 3), un fonctionnement fiable des soupapes de changement des gaz (2, 3) à actionnement électromécanique.
