A mobile crane having a telescoping boom (3) which is formed to be inclined downward from its base end part (3a) to its top end part (3b) and to be low above the ground at the lower portion of its top end part (3b) and an auxiliary jib (10) installed detachably at the top end part (3b) of the telescoping boom (3), wherein, when the auxiliary jib (10) is moved from a stored position in which the jib is stowed on the side of the telescoping boom (3) to an operating position in which the jib is installed on the telescoping boom (3) forward from the top end part (3b) of the telescoping boom (3), a jib main body (12) is elevated upward relative to a jib base stand (11) positioned at the side of the top end part (3b) of the telescoping boom (3) in rearwardly directed position, the jib base stand (11) is rotated from the rearwardly directed position to a forwardly directed position about a rotating pivot pin (25) under this elevated position so as to change its position and, after the jib base stand (11) is fixed to the top end part (3b) of the telescoping boom (3) with a fixing pin (26), the jib main body (12) is lowered so as to extend the jib to the forward telescoping side of the telescoping boom (3) for installation and, the storing operation of the auxiliary jib (10) from the operating position can be performed in the order reverse to that taken in the installation operation.

L'invention porte sur une grue mobile à flèche télescopique (3) pouvant s'incliner vers le bas à partir de sa ferrure de base (3a) et dont l'extrémité peut s'abaisser à faible hauteur du sol, et sur un bras auxiliaire monté réversiblement à l'extrémité de la flèche (3) et mobile entre une position de route ou il repose le long de la flèche (3) et une position d'utilisation où il prolonge la flèche. On peut élever le corps (12) du bras par rapport à sa ferrure (11) de base fixée latéralement à l'extrémité de la flèche (3), alors que celle-ci est orientée vers l'arrière, puis on fait pivoter ladite ferrure (11) autour d'un axe (25) de pivotement pour l'orienter vers l'avant alors que le bras est en position élevée pour en changer la position, puis une fois la ferrure de base fixée à l'extrémité de la flèche, par un axe goupille (26), on abaisse le corps du bras pour le placer dans le prolongement de la flèche (3) en position d'utilisation. Pour revenir à la configuration de route, on procède dans l'ordre inverse.
