A conveyer roller bearing seal assembly located in the end of a conveyer roller shell (11, 111) comprising, an outer seal assembly (15, 115) having a first annular member (21, 121) located outermost and adapted to be non-rotatably supported on a shaft (13, 113), a second annular member (27, 127) adapted to be supported from the shell (11, 111) located closely adjacent the first annular member (21, 121), the radial extent of the members (21, 121, 27, 127) being such that they overlap, the outer seal assembly (15, 115) further comprises a resilient flexible sealing element (39, 139) supported on the first (21, 121) or second (27, 127) annular member and being in a slidable contact with the opposed face of the other annular member.

Cette invention se rapporte à un ensemble joint d'étanchéité pour roulement à rouleaux de transporteur, placé à l'extrémité d'un logement de rouleau (11, 111) du transporteur et comprenant un ensemble joint d'étanchéité externe (15, 115) comportant un premier élément annulaire (21, 121) disposé en position extérieure extrême et conçu pour être placé non rotatif sur un arbre (13, 113,), un second élément annulaire (27, 127) conçu pour être placé en support par rapport au logement (11, 111) en position étroitement adjacente au premier élément annulaire (21, 121), la dimension radiale desdits éléments (21, 121, 27, 127) étant conçue pour qu'ils puissent se chevaucher. L'ensemble joint d'étanchéité externe (15, 115) comprend en outre un élément d'étanchéité souple élastique (39, 139) placé en support sur le premier (21, 121) ou le second (27, 127) élément annulaire et en contact coulissant avec la face opposée de l'autre élément annulaire.
