Abstract

The invention concerns a naval vessel (1) comprising a pod (5) whereon is mounted a rotary propulsion device (9a, 9b, 10a, 10b) and at least an electric motor (13) driving the propeller in rotation. The pod comprises a longitudinally oriented shaft (8) fixed at one end of a suspension and orientation strut (3) mounted rotating about an axis (4) on the naval vessel (1) structure (2). The pod (5) shaft (8) carries at least a pair of contra-rotating propellers (9, 10). Each of the propellers in integral with a rotor support (15) mounted rotating about the pod shaft (8), bearing at least a rotor element placed opposite at least a stator (16) fixed around the pod shaft (8) and arranged inside the rotor support (15) which constitutes at least part of a casing for the pod (5).

Le bâtiment naval (1) comporte une nacelle (5) sur laquelle est montée au moins une hélice de propulsion rotative (9a, 9b, 10a, 10b) et au moins un moteur électrique (13) d'entraînement de l'hélice en rotation. La nacelle comporte un arbre (8) de direction longitudinale fixé à une extrémité d'une jambe de suspension et d'orientation (3) montée rotative autour d'un axe (4) sur la structure (2) du bâtiment naval (1). L'arbre (8) de la nacelle (5) porte au moins une paire d'hélices contrarotatives (9, 10). Chacune des hélices est solidaire d'un support de rotor (15) monté rotatif autour de l'arbre (8) de la nacelle, portant au moins un élément de rotor placé en vis-à-vis d'au moins un stator (16) fixé autour de l'arbre (8) de la nacelle et disposé à l'intérieur du support de rotor (15) qui constitue une partie au moins d'une enveloppe de la nacelle (5).
