Abstract
(EN)
A non-fluidized bed apparatus for coating tablets has a base plate (3) of which a portion (6) of the upper surface is inclined towards an upward directed two-fluid or three-fluid nozzle (5). Ducts (7) through the base plate around the nozzle produce jets of process gas in a direction intersecting an imaginary centre line of the spray produced by the nozzle. Atomizing gas from the nozzle is muffled shortly after it has left the nozzle to decrease the upward scattering effect of said gas on the tablets being coated. No partition is used for separating upward and downward flow of tablets during the coating process. In the coating process the amount of atomizing gas supplied to the nozzle is limited to reduce the tablet scattering effect of said gas.

L'invention concerne un appareil à lit non fluidisé permettant d'enrober des comprimés ayant une plaque de base (3) dont une partie (6) de la surface supérieure est inclinée en direction d'une buse (5) pour deux ou trois fluides orientée vers le haut. Des conduits (7) traversant la plaque de base autour de la buse envoient des jets de gaz de traitement dans un sens entrecoupant une ligne centrale imaginaire de la vaporisation produite par la buse. Le gaz d'atomisation est brièvement modéré après sa sortie de la buse et ce, dans le but de diminuer l'effet de dispersion verticale du gaz sur les comprimés en cours d'enrobage. On n'utilise aucune cloison pour séparer l'écoulement de comprimés vers le haut ou vers le bas pendant l'enrobage. En cours d'enrobage, la quantité de gaz d'atomisation alimenté par la buse est limitée de manière à réduire encore l'effet de dispersion de ce gaz dans le comprimé.
