Abstract
(EN)
A nozzle of converging-diverging shape for creating mist flow at supersonic velocity comprising: a throat having a characteristic diameter D*; an inlet having a characteristic diameter D1, positioned a distance L1 upstream of the nozzle throat; and an outlet having a characteristic diameter D2, positioned a distance L2 downstream of the nozzle throat, wherein the ratio of L2/(D2-D*) is larger than 4, but smaller than 250; an inertia separator based thereon, and a method for supersonic separation of one or more components of a predominantly gaseous stream.

L'invention concerne une buse de forme convergente-divergente permettant de créer un écoulement de brouillard à une vitesse subsonique. Ladite buse est constituée d'une gorge d'un diamètre caractéristique D*; d'un orifice d'entrée d'un diamètre caractéristique D1, placé à une distance L1 en amont de la gorge de la buse; et d'un orifice de sortie d'un diamètre caractéristique D2, placé à une distance L2 en aval de ladite gorge. Le rapport L2/(D2-D*) est supérieur à 4, mais inférieur à 250, avec un séparateur d'inertie correspondant et un procédé de séparation subsonique d'au moins un composant d'un flux principalement gazeux.
