A compact, small size humidifier (1) includes appropriate electrical plugs (19) and internal electrical transformer (411) to allow usage in different countries with different voltages. The humidifier (1) also includes an opening (142) for receiving a number of different sockets (2) allowing use of different sized water bottles (3) as the water tank. The different sockets (2, 16, 17) may be detachably affixed to the humidifier body (1) in appropriate holding means (15). The humidifier (1) includes a low water detection assembly (43) which utilizes two projecting probes (10) positioned in the water retaining chamber (11) to indicate the presence of a sufficient amount of water. When the water drops below a certain level, there is no longer an electrical signal indicated by the probes (10), this indication is then used to shut off the humidifier (1) to prevent damage to the unit.

L'invention concerne un humidificateur (1) compact et de petite taille, comprenant des fiches électriques appropriées (19), ainsi qu'un transformateur électrique interne (411), permettant l'utilisation de ce produit dans différents pays, à différentes tensions. L'humidificateur (1) comprend également une ouverture (142), permettant de recevoir plusieurs éléments de connexion (2) différents, et de pouvoir utiliser des bouteilles d'eau (3) de différentes tailles en tant que réservoir d'eau. Les différents éléments de connexion (2, 16, 17) peuvent être installés, de façon amovible, sur le corps de l'humidificateur (1), dans les dispositifs de support appropriés (15). L'humidificateur (1) comprend un élément de détection de faible niveau d'eau (43), qui utilise deux sondes saillantes (10), placées dans le compartiment de conservation de l'eau (11), pour indiquer la présence d'une quantité suffisante d'eau.
