A fuzzy channel allocation controller having service quality insuring is applied to a hierarchic wireless communication system, which includes macrocells and microcells. A major object of the invention is to dynamically adjust an appropriate threshold value allowing a call to access the system according to the system's states, in order to make the call in progress be able to maintain a certain service quality, and balance the loads of the macrocells and microcells during the channel allocation, so that the system can obtain a higher channel usage. The invention includes: a base interface module, a resource estimator, a performance evaluator and a fuzzy channel allocation processor.

L'invention concerne un contrôleur de l'attribution des canaux à logique floue garantissant une qualité de service utilisé dans un système de communication sans fil hiérarchisé comprenant des macrocellules et des microcellules. L'invention vise essentiellement à régler de manière dynamique une valeur seuil adéquate assurant l'accès au système sur appel en fonction des états du système et ce, dans le but d'offrir des services de qualité et de corriger les charges des macrocellules et des microcellules pendant l'attribution des canaux de manière que le système atteigne un taux d'utilisation de canaux supérieur. L'invention comprend un module d'interface de base, un dispositif d'estimation des ressources, un dispositif d'évaluation des performances et un processeur d'attribution des canaux à logique floue.
